Name:Aerrow
Bio

AIM Screen Name: firin mah layzor
Character Name: Aerrow
Series: Storm Hawks
Age: 16

Physical Description: Aerrow is rather small for his age, only reaching about 5'6". Having been born to a very poor Narakan family, his small stature is easily blamed upon lack of proper nutrition as a child. He has short, wild red hair which spikes disorderly atop his head and tapers off into a small loose rattail at the base of his neck. Two thin pieces of longer, more tame hair fall at his temples almost like sideburns. His eyes are a vibrant kelley green, always alert and curious. He is lean and wiry, and tends to make up for this by wearing clothing that is a size or two too large for his frame. He tends to dress casually, most often found in a long-sleeved turtleneck(it could be assumed that he wears long sleeves to mimic his brother, but he'd never admit to it) and a pair of oversized jeans(which could very well be Axel's).

Personality: A classic do-gooder, Aerrow never likes to see people bullied. He has a strong distaste for anything evil or questionable in nature, and tends to get a little too into his valiant attempts to play hero. His unending need to protect people-- whether he knows them or not --tends to get him in trouble, whether it be with bullies themselves or his older brother. He also thinks very highly of Axel; he idolizes his brother like no other, but rarely shows it. Genial and very easy to get along with, Aerrow makes friends very easily. He is a very amicable character, and while he can periodically fail at conversation, is generally quite the talker. In contrast to people's general first impression of him, Aerrow has the capability to be very mature for his age should the situation call for it.

While he most certainly does everything in his power to keep friends(and everyone else, really) out of trouble, Aerrow also has a wild streak. The one thing he is more passionate about than his daily good deeds is his motorbike. It is his primary mode of transport, and one of two material items he treasures. Radarr does not have the capability to hover like the common airbike, and is in fact only meant for land, but Aerrow has it in his heart to save the money to get it seriously modified, hopefully giving it the capability of flight.

Abilities/Strengths/Weaponry: If nothing else, Aerrow is extremely resourceful. He knows how to use nearly anything he has on hand in any given situation to give himself the advantage, much to the general surprise of his opponents. He also has an exceptional sense of direction, almost always able to find his way to various landmarks when lost in the middle of nowhere, and find his way to where he's going from there. If you're ever lost, follow that Aerrow(hurr hurr).

Additionally, Aerrow is a very good rider. He spends more time on his bike than he spends doing most anything else, leading him to have learned very quickly what he could and could not do with Radarr. He knows very basic mechanics in order to fix very minor problems with the bike, as well as periodic top-offs of fuels and the like, but if anything were to seriously go wrong with the vehicle he would be completely boned. He knows this, and tries his hardest to keep the bike in as good of shape as he possibly can.

Aerrow carries a pair of short broadswords which he keeps sheathed on his back. They are the second of his valued material items, not because they are his weapons, but because his brother made them for him. He's not amazingly skilled with them, and could still use quite a lot of practice, but he has improved greatly since the weapons were first forged for him. He hopes one day to master them and be as good of a fighter with them as Axel is with his chakrams. While he does not generally use them as such, the broadswords have the capability of being joined at the hilt and becoming one double-ended sword.

Aerrow's pet and best friend since childhood can also be viewed as a strength. He calls his strange friend "Radarr", and views him as more of a brother than a pet simply for the animal's intelligence. Radarr cannot speak, but can most definitely understand Aegean and could, if given the opportunity, be taught how to write. Aerrow has never questioned his pet's strange intelligence, and is unaware of the creature's background. All he knows is Radarr is smart, friendly, and knows a lot more about his skimmer than Aerrow himself does.

Weaknesses: A good person at heart, Aerrow has a tendency to let people walk all over him. He tries his honest hardest to make everyone happy, and tends to sometimes neglect his own wants or needs in lieu of it. He is also not quite the brightest crayon in the box, despite occasional witty comebacks and a constant resourcefulness.

Possibly one of Aerrow's most unfortunate setbacks is his size. He is very small for his age, and often is mistaken for being much younger than he is. He is rarely taken seriously, it tends to irritate him. He is also only sixteen, and thusly seen as too young for a lot of things he would like to do in life. He wants to help people, and unfortunately many instances he is laughed at and turned away. . He faces this sort of discouragement almost daily, but is confident that if he keeps at it he will eventually succeed. This can be viewed as ambition and be a strength, or stubbornness and a weakness, respectively.

History: Born to a financially unstable Narakan family as Aeron in June of 1862, Aerrow forced his family to make a very difficult decision. With barely enough money to care for their first son Axel the boy's parents feared they would be forced to leave the child for dead. Apalled by the thought, the boy's brother (known as Ael at the time) insisted that if Aeron be sent away, he too would leave. For five years the family struggled to survive, until finally the two undernourished growing boys were sent away on a slave charter to start a new life on the island Destiny in 1867.

Being as young a slave as he was, Aeron was both at an advantage and a great disadvantage on the plantation. It was here that he began his lifelong quest to do good, helping others with their workload and sharing his food. Axel often scolded him for such, that he needn't work more than his fare share and oughtn't share what little food they were given with others, but Aeron paid him little mind. He'd lived the first five years of his life with very little and was still happy, and drew more enjoyment from seeing others happy than having time or more food.

At the age of twelve, when the revolution broke out and their first plantation master was killed, Aeron and his brother were sent off to another plantation on Destiny. Here, Aeron met a strangely colored rabbit-weasel while cleaning the giraffe-horse stables. The creature was intelligent, and while he did not speak, communicated well with Aeron. In fairly short order the boy began sneaking food out to the animal at night and between shifts. When his brother and a girl named Larxene began plotting a second revolution, Aeron took to spending the time he had previously spent palling around with his brother making friends with this creature. Soon the animal became somewhat like a pet, and Aeron dubbed him with the name Radarr ("because it sounded cool"). When Ael wouldn't let his brother fight with him in the overthrowing of their plantation owner, Aeron hid in the stables with Radarr until it was safe again, and brought the creature with him when they fled for freedom. It was then that Aeron and his brother changed their names to Aerrow and Axel, respectively. With their newfound freedom, the boys took up occupations on a pirate crew to allow themselves a means to gather funds for their new lives. For somewhere around two months (Aerrow didn't bother keeping count, he didn't much mind the work they were given since he was doing it of his own volition) they saved until they had gathered adequate funds to rent an apartment.

Soon after acquiring an address, Aerrow and Radarr went out to scope out the area. Along the way Aerrow noticed a pair of rather suspicious men shuffling about in an alleyway and let his curiosity get the better of him. Additionally, when he realized the shuffling going on in the alleyway appeared to be the disposal of a dead body, Aerrow decided it would be Good Times to call the men on it rather than run for help. Caught, the men assaulted Aerrow and his strange pet and hauled him off to see a man named Vetinari. In something of a hostage situation, Aerrow was forced to divulge information of his older brother. Axel came to his kid brother's aid, negotiating with Vetinari and in exchange for his brother's release, became a member of the mafia. Since Axel was put in this situation because of Aerrow's own foolishness, Aerrow tries his best to be blissfully ignorant of the entire thing.

Over the course of the last four years since the incident with Vetinari, Aerrow has spent most of his time doing what a sixteen year old should do best: being a kid. He is a bit more cautious nowadays, careful not to get himself in another bind like that which landed his brother with the position of Right Hand to the Mob.
